Movements in Ireland

We have been meeting with people across Ireland who are exploring or interested in simple/organic/missional/house church and multiplying disciples

So far we have met with people from Bangor, Belfast, Dublin, Galway, Derry and Coleraine…

There is a growing vision for movements in Ireland and on this trip we have trained some people in the principles of pioneer mission and making disciples

We recently spent the weekend connecting with people at the National M3 conference in Bucharest, Romania. M3 is a network of leaders and churches who share the core values of Gospel, Mission and Multiplication.

It was great to hear more about what God is doing in Romania and how the vision for multiplication movements is growing. We had a great time of mutual learning and encouragement and are looking forward to returning later in the year to facilitate some practical training in disciple making and church planting.

Newforms National Gathering with Neil Cole

We had a great weekend in Nottingham with Neil Cole. Peter Farmer shared about the work in the UK and Ireland and how there is growing momentum as people work towards seeing movements in their regions of the UK and Ireland.

Neil Cole shared about movements, Apostolic 4:11 Teams and the need to multiply them.

EDEN team trained in Pioneer Mission

We recently spent a few days with team leaders from the EDEN network. We had a great time working through together how Jesus and other ‘workers’ made disciples and started churches. We’re looking forward to hearing how these principles help movements spread across the urban centres of the UK and Ireland

Truth and Dare in Sheffield

We recently facilitated a training in Sheffield with our friends from the Beacon Church. The training looked at the first steps in making disciples who make disciples and how to start simple/organic/missional churches. We are looking forward to hearing how the work in Sheffield develops. One of the areas we looked at in the training is a discipleship tool called “Truth and Dare”…

Prayer and persecution, Training in the North East

Newforms Resources has spent the weekend facilitating Level 1 Training in Morpeth. Martin Luff (Morpeth Baptist Church) has a vision to see disciples and organic/missional churches multiplying across the North East.

We trained 9 people in the skills needed to start finding people of peace, multiplying disciples and forming simple/organic groups in our homes, workplaces or leisure. We also trained people in how to respond when they face hardship, persecution and spiritual attack for moving forward in mission.

Church Army Gap Year do “Newforms Pioneer Experience” Training

Newforms Resources have been working with a group of gap year students from the Church Army in Sheffield

Here’s what Neville Barnes from Xplore, the Church Army year out programme thought about the training:

‘Peter’s training helped move scripture into reality for Xplore. I saw our leaders move from fear to a place of boldness. The mix of great teaching and putting into practice on the streets and estates of Sheffield really firmed up a new way of being missional in the UK today. If this training were to happen across the UK. I’d dare to believe that the UK would be discipled in my lifetime. What a goal…

‘The reason training was so good, Peter gave us a good introduction to Pioneer Mission, moving us from meeting people, finding a person of peace to starting simple missional communities. He then did what others don’t do, he took us out to practice it and then taught us again on areas he saw in us that needed more work. What’s so good is that the Xplore Interns can’t wait to go and do it’

Amnos Church Planting School

We’ve spent a great two days with the team at Amnos Church Planting School in Brentwood, Essex.

Daniel Chae has established Amnos Church Planting School to train church planters in the UK and Europe.

The training has helped the planters to examine the scriptures about disciple making and church planting and has suggested some new principles and methods which might lead to the rapid spread of disciples/churches.
